Male pattern baldness and benign prostatic hyperplasia in men
Contraindication
  • Patients with a history of allergy to the active ingredients dutasteride and finasteride
  • Minors (under 20 years old)
  • Women (pregnant or possibly pregnant and lactating women)
  • Patients with severe hepatic dysfunction

  • It is not effective for alopecia areata or hair loss associated with diseases, and should not be used for hair loss other than AGA.
Dosage and Administration
  • The usual dose for male adults is 0.1 mg of dutasteride orally once daily. If necessary, 0.5 mg may be orally administered once daily.
Cautions for use
  • Since it usually takes 6 months to see effects, it must be administered daily. It should also be taken continuously to maintain its effectiveness.
  • Do not increase the dosage because increasing the dosage does not increase efficacy and increases the risk of side effects.
  • If the tablet is split, the scattered ingredients can be absorbed through the skin, and if women or children are nearby, they may be adversely affected.
  • Because dutasteride can affect test results, those who are preparing for a prostate exam should inform their doctor that they are taking the drug.
Storage method
  • Avoid high temperature, high humidity and direct sunlight.
  • Keep out of reach of children and women.
  • Do not transfer to another container.
  • Do not take anything beyond its shelf life.
