It is not effective for alopecia areata or hair loss associated with diseases, and should not be used for hair loss other than AGA.
- Dosage and Administration

- The usual oral dose for male adults is 0.2 mg of finasteride once daily. The dose may be increased as needed, but should not exceed 1 mg daily.
- Cautions for use

- Since it usually takes 6 months to see effects, it must be administered daily. It should also be taken continuously to maintain its effectiveness.
- Do not increase the dosage because increasing the dosage does not increase efficacy and increases the risk of side effects.
- If the tablet is split, the scattered ingredients can be absorbed through the skin, and if women or children are nearby, they may be adversely affected.
